Onalaska, WI- November 9th, 2012– Valley Dental hosted a free dental care event through Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) supporting La Crosse County residents by providing free dental services to the community on a first come-first served basis.[anything_slider title=”” column=”half” autoslide=”3000″ slider_id=”1805″/]
The team of dental professionals at Valley Dental provided about 70 adult patients with a free extraction, filling or cleaning. Several hygienists, dental assistants and other volunteers donated their time and resources as well. The goal was to provide free dental care to as many residents as possible. Valley Dental donated thousands of dollars in free dental care and provided much needed relief to people in need in the community. Texas Roadhouse and Caribou Coffee of Onalaska served food and coffee throughout the day to those waiting for dental care.
This was the first annual event for Valley Dental, owned by Dr. Mike Gavin, and like hundreds of other Dentistry From The Heart members, it will not be their last. This sort of outreach comes complete with improved smiles, relief from suffering and a warm sense of gratitude. The services provided by Dentistry From The Heart not only help a patient’s teeth and overall health, but it gives them a renewed reason to smile. “It all comes down to wanting to provide something greater to my community,” says Dr. Mike Gavin.
The smiles are on us!
Valley Dental would like to thank our numerous sponsors. Without them, this day would not be possible!
