Supporting the Special Olympics

For lunch a couple of the Valley Dental staff members went to Buffalo Wild Wings to support Special Olympics! The Onalaska Police Officers are hosting their 4th Annual “Cops Gone Wild” fundraiser. We had a great time, delicious meal and are happy we were able to donate and participate in this event.

Onalaska police officers worked as guest servers while all tips and a portion of the food sales benefited the Special Olympics athletes. We had the pleasure and opportunity to meet with some of the athletes and they definitely brightened our day! Weren’t able to visit Buffalo Wild Wings but still want to help? On Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at Pettibone Beach in La Crosse, WI there will be a Polar Plunge benefiting the Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes. Dashing begins at 10:00 am. Plunging begins at 12:00 pm. Since its inception in 1999, Wisconsin Polar Plungers have helped raise more than $15 MILLION for Special Olympics. Children and adults with intellectual disabilities who participate in Special Olympics develop improved physical fitness and motor skills, greater self confidence and a more positive self-image.
