“As a Dental Assisting student at Western Technical College in La Crosse, I was placed at Valley Dental for my summer semester clinical. After graduation, I was fortunate enough to get hired on the Valley Dental team, and the rest is history! Since then, I have been assisting for Dr. Gavin since 1999. Having been born and raised in Onalaska, it has always been such a pleasure to work in the community I grew up in. I enjoy seeing all the familiar faces and meeting new people each day. I love my job because I get the chance to make a difference in people’s health and help them feel confident about their smiles.”

“I was born and raised in Onalaska, WI and am happy to call the coulee region my home. I graduated from Western Technical College with a Dental Assisting degree and have been working in the dental field since 1990. I have experience in several specialties including pediatrics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. I joined Valley Dental in 2001 and am blessed to be a part of this dedicated and skilled team. When I’m not at work I keep busy with my 2 puppies, spending time with my adult children, and enjoying my ‘empty nest’ with my husband.”

I love dental assisting because it gives me the opportunity to help patients and develop new relationships. When I’m not working, I spend time with my husband and 6 children. They keep me busy with their sporting events!”
