Meet the Doctors
Dr. Michael Gavin DDS
Dr. Michael Gavin is a proud lifelong resident of Wisconsin. He has spent the majority of his adult life in Onalaska. He is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the University of Minnesota Dental School. Upon receiving his dental degree, Dr. Gavin was commissioned for 8 years in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. While on active duty, Dr. Gavin trained at the Naval Dental Center in Orlando, Florida and at the Naval Hospital in Cherry Point, North Carolina. It was during this tour when Dr. Gavin was deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to provide humanitarian dental care to Haitian immigrants. Dr. Gavin began building the Valley Dental team in 1993 and has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. Dr. Gavin and his wife of over 30 years have 3 adult children and 2 precious granddaughters. When not working, Dr. Gavin enjoys traveling, road biking, brewing his own beer, and running his energetic dogs.
Dr. Eric Stull DDS
Dr. Eric Stull is a native of Milwaukee, WI. He attended the University of Missouri where he earned his degree in Biology. He then went on to attend University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. Shortly after he returned to Wisconsin where he practiced in La Crosse for close to a decade before joining the Valley Dental team in 2019. Dr. Stull’s clinical interest is in dental implants, oral surgery and advanced restorative work. He has previously served as president of the La Crosse District Dental Society and has had leadership positions with the Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr. Stull is married and has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys adventures with his family, mountain biking and playing golf.
Dr. Drew Cybulski
Dr. Drew Cybulski joined the Valley Dental team in 2022. He is a Michigan native with a sense of adventure! He graduated from Indiana University in 2018t hen went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 2022. Dr. Drew is an avid fan of the NHL Detroit Red Wings, the NFL Detroit Lions, Michigan college football. When not at work, Dr. Drew enjoys playing hockey, guitar and piano along with hiking and exploring the outdoors and local attractions with his 2 dogs and fiancé Karlie.
Dr. Kate Eppolito
Dr. Kate Eppolito grew up in the Chicagoland area. She went to the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse for her undergraduate degree where she majored in Biology with a concentration in medicine and minored in Chemistry and Spanish. Dr. Kate then returned to the Chicago area to attend the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine where she graduated with her DMD in 2024. Dr. Kate has since moved back to La Crosse County with her Husband, Niko, and two cats, Tesla and Blue. In her free time, Dr. Kate likes to run, bake, garden, and refinish old furniture.
